Incidence

Subclinical AP fistulas can be seen incidentally on angiography of transplanted livers; however, the prevalence of symptomatic fistulas is rare (0.2%)

Presentation

Symptomatic AP fistulas most commonly manifest with hemobilia, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, elevated liver function tests, and abdominal pain.
